What is the cost and what do I need to provide?

The cost at sign-ups is $60. Parents will need to provide football pants, cleats, and practice jersey.

How are the football teams divided?

The 4 grade levels are each divided into 2 teams (RED & BLUE). Siblings are granted request to be same team color.

A draft between all of the 3^rd grade coaches is done prior to the seasons first practice.

4^th-6^th grades will adjust teams based on need.

Is there an A and B team?

No. The teams are divided as even as possible and re-evaluated each season.

How many kids are on a team?

The avg. team has about 28 players.

Who can play WCYF?

Any child (grades 3-6) who resides in WC or attends WC Schools.

How much playing time does each child get?

League rules state each player must have a minimum of 4 plays per half.

Where are the games played?

All HOME games are played at Cardinal Stadium at WCHS. Away games are played at the area high school fields.

When are practices and how long is the season?

Practices begin the first part of Aug. and once school begins will typically be 2 week nights (varies per coaches). Games are played on Saturdays beginning in Sept. & running through Oct.

Will WCYF be going to 3 teams?

If the number of players continues to rise and exceeds 66 in EACH grade, representatives would consider dividing into 3 teams.
